Connecting Cultures, in collaboration with The Museo del Cenacolo Vinciano/Leonardo’s Last Supper Museum in Milan, presents Cenacolo Live! an artistic project of cultural inclusion which involves two particularly interesting and underserved communities ideally located north and south of the city centre of Milan, Dergano and Barona.

The project is realised in partnership with the associations Nuovo Armenia, Asnada and Comunità Nuova Onlus, which are strongly engaged in cultural and social promotion activities in the two districts.

Cenacolo Live promotes new forms of participation in cultural life, through an inedited, contemporary analysis of a “textbook” work, the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci at The Museo del Cenacolo Vinciano. The goal is to generate social and economic impact and to regenerate local identities.

The contemporary and creative reinterpretation of the Last Supper will take place within workshops and laboratories, led by the multimedia artists of Film Live Association in the two districts, whose mission is to encourage young people to learn about and experiment with multimedia arts.

The project, lasting 21 months from 2021 to 2023, will feature performances involving the communities of the two neighborhoods and the creation of two final video works made available to the public and visitors to The Museo del Cenacolo Vinciano.
