A call broadcast to creatives from around the world for new models of communication for sustainable fashion: October 27, 2022 marks the launch of the third edition of the Imagining Sustainable Fashion Award. The Imagining Sustainable Fashion Award (ISFA) is the international competition born out of the collaboration between Connecting Cultures, the foundation that guides the Out of Fashion platform, and C.L.A.S.S., the international eco-hub that shapes a conscious and competitive business, capable of playing both an economic and social role.
The Imagining Sustainable Fashion Award invites stylists, photographers, designers, illustrators and artists to create visual imagery, an avant-garde project that highlights awareness, respect for people and the planet that define the values of sustainable fashion in the fashion system.
Why a prize for Imagining Sustainable Fashion?
The goal of the Imagining Sustainable Fashion Award is not to give visibility to a particular product, but to promote a next-generation style of communication and impactful images inspired by the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
We will be evaluating innovative projects expressed in the form of images, original and brilliant ideas that speak to people’s hearts and minds to counter the rampant opacity and ambiguity of greenwashing that is poisoning fashion communication.
How to apply
The call for proposals opens on October 27, 2022.
To participate in the competition, send your proposal to email@example.com by midnight of 18 April 2023, writing in the subject line IMAGINING SUSTAINABLE FASHION AWARD 2023.
You have to include:
– A CV with your name, age, educational background, and professional experience
– a proposal statement (max two A4 pages) in Word. Describe the concept and images and provide commentary on the overall vision of the project
– a list of the names of everyone who contributed to the project
– the signed forms required for participation (data handling, image release, declaration of originality).
A winning concept will necessarily incorporate effective and beautiful imagery while delivering a message that combines design, innovation, and responsibility all at the same time. For further and more complete information please refer to:
